A bright orange velvet tufted sofa is the central focus of this strange living space. Bold patterns dominate the space and begin to overlap and diffuse. Solid yellow interjects the light blue and navy pattern on the floor, while the floor pattern also begins covering the wall pattern. Motifs from the pattern on the wall seem to melt onto the couch in neon yellow.

The same neon yellow is used for drawings of floating shelves with plants, picture frames, and a lava lamp and an askew rug on the ground. The intensity of pattern and color coupled with the small scale of this painting create visual confusion which encourages the viewer to look closely and slow down.
